“I’m On Fire” Gavin McMahon Bruce Springsteen Cover(Lyrics)

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Still working with seriously bad hardware but this was requested so here it is.

Hey little girl is your daddy home
Did he go away and leave you all alone
I got a bad desire
I’m on fire

Tell me now baby is he good to you
Can he do to you the things that I do
I can take you higher
I’m on fire

Sometimes it’s like someone took a knife baby
edgy and dull and cut a six-inch valley
through the middle of my soul

At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
and a freight train running through the
middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
I’m on fire

Gerudo Valley song cover

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Gerudo Valley cover with rhythm guitar, solo guitar, bass and rhythm beat. I accidently set the camera on mirrored in some clips, meaning I’m not left-handed if you wonder.
So the sound quality and the editing isn’t the best, but what do you think about my performance? Comment!

Victor Wooten – Isn’t She Lovely?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Music by Stevie Wonder

Recorded at the Northridge Library on January 23, 2010.

Victor Wooten undertook a four day “Library Tour” in Los Angeles. Three of the four stops were in the San Fernando Valley. He performed, spoke about his musical development and philosophy, answered questions and signed copies of his excellent book “The Music Lesson: A Spiritual Search for Growth through Music.”
http://www.amazon.com/Music-Lesson-Spiritual-Search-Through/dp/0425220931/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1264993360&sr=8-1

Victor demonstrates looping and how by playing the “wrong” notes musically, they cease being so wrong. Excellent lesson for all artists.

During this mini tour Victor seemed to avoid the slapping and popping that he is widely associated with, instead he focused on melody, groove and outside notes.

The event was sponsored by The Los Angeles Music Network. www.LAMN.com
