Vintage 1942 Patek Chemnitzer Concertina solo and a song dedicated to VeroniqueChevalier. Yes, I’ve got various skins from things that I don’t even know where they came from. Maybe, if I’m lucky, I could sell some of these things like Christy Hengel did to earn a “new” Concertina! From what I understand, this is what he did as a very very young man to get a “new” and “better” concertina many years ago. Yes, music, accordians, harmonica’s, and concertina’s are almost everywhere. I’m even having a hard time getting into my bed. Sometimes, I wonder where I am? Heaven? It seems a little bit early, but if so, I hope I’m there. The Gathering new years party in New Zealand. This was the last Gathering and was held in the Cobb Valley, near Nelson. It was a legendary festival and touched the lives of everyone who went. The smiles on everyone’s faces are proof of the goodness there.

Great rework of a classic. Fantastic. The bass line is wicked. Very cool peak time track. Big room killer. This is massive. I am 100% sure that it will rock. Wow!

When DJs start making comments like these, you know theres something very special going on, and its no wonder, because UMEK has taken a true classic and worked his magic to create a remix with a very modern twist and bundles of energy.

Hablando always was, and always will be, a great peak-time party track, and the Slovenian master producer has kept the essential essence of the original and given it that new punch and power to suit todays dancefloors, which is all it ever needed.

Samims squeezebox-tastic Heater on Get Physical may have been a massive stand out tune during the summer of 2007, but it was Ramirez who created the first accordion techno track way back in 1991 when Hablando first appeared. Since those early days it has become a staple of any self-respecting DJs box.

The Ramirez project was created by the legendary Italian DFC (Dance Floor Corporation) label, and featured members of their in-house production team alongside main member Ramirez. Davide Rizzatti, Elvio Moratto and Ricki Persi were the musicians, while Alex Quiroz Buelvas was the singer and front man for videos and performances. What made Ramirez stand out from the crowd was the use of fresh sounds, great melodies and uplifting lyrics. Songs like Baraonda, La Musica Tremenda and Terapia, still sound fresh and full of energy today. Maybe this is a lesson for the young producers everywhere?

Now in 2009, UMEK has done a masterful job with Hablando by refreshing peoples ears with his modern twist on an all time classic. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite bands. I love their music. BRIAN DOES A BEAUTIFUL JOB PLAYING THE CONCERTINA. And, the tune is called, “WHEN YOU RETURN”. My objective is to share this music with you. I KNOW THAT LIFE SOMETIMES CAN GET IN THE WAY. LET’S TAKE A TIME OUT!! And, while this song was being uploaded on Youtube, I’ve been working on a Vintage 1927 concertina. There were a couple of surprises inside. But, I do have it figured out and I am making significant progress on this instrument. When you go into surgery, If you can make it to 82 years of age, you can almost expect a few surprises. Still, if you find an accordian or concertina with significant “rust” on the reeds, you might as well throw it over a bridge. But, don’t worry about me. I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING. That would be polluting the river. WHEN YOU RETURN? As a person that has 26 years of US Military service, I assure, I have always been HAPPY TO RETURN to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Do you wonder why? Listen to this music!!!!!. These guy’s are precious!!!!
