The Sibleys at The Palms
I liked a review of the place I read somewhere it where it mentioned local color like a couple of fights and a guy with an oxygen tank smoking cigarettes. Anyhoo, the bar’s remoteness makes it a bona fide dive bar. The wild west, and as close as you would get to that ambience today. The Sibley’s deserve praise for that more than their music.

James looked just how the proverbial stoner working in a kitchen does, almost uncaring but happy to bang out a tune. Thom looked like the nerdy geek that holds it together because this is as exciting as it gets for him..he said he was from the East Coast and with his big framed specs, could indeed be a Ramone. Laura still has the singing siren that she pulls off on choruses. Hippy dippy but cool.
